Precious Testimonies #407

Ceci was the only child, born 10 years into her parents’ marriage. Around the age of 11 years old she started experimenting with marijuana and alcohol. In high school she became fascinated with gangs and fighting. At the tender age of 13, Ceci joined a gang and started a romantic interest with a 19 y/o gang leader.

“I liked fighting”

Ceci went head first into the gang lifestyle. She ran away with her boyfriend and started using heroin before the age of 14. By the time Ceci was 16, she was strung out on heroin and cocaine.

By the age of 19, she was involved in numerous gang fights, robberies, experienced domestic violence and sadly, ganged raped. Things would get a lot worse before they became better for Ceci.

A few years later Ceci exchanged her gang leader boyfriend for a dope dealing husband. In the beginning life was great, with all the money rolling in. They had it all, including the white picket fenced home. This union brought a beautiful baby girl into the world.

With all the money, happiness seemed to elude the young couple. Eventually they started using heroin and crack cocaine, and the downward spiral continued for Ceci. Her husband became abusive, threatening to kill her and himself.

Sadly, her husband words became true when he drove his car off a 6000-foot cliff, tragically ending his life. This was the beginning of the end for Ceci, she could no longer take life. Ceci relinquished custody of her daughter to her parents and went into an abyss of drugs and street life.
